Development is now underway on the area of simulation time. A real EHR works within real time. Of course. Yet in the simulation we need to work within simulated time. The EdEHR uses "visit day" 1, and "visit time" concepts. The visit day is numbered from zero. The day of admission, the initial day of the encounter, is Day 0. The next day is Day etc.  While "visit time" is just the 24hr clock time within a day. E.g. 0030, 0900, 2130
